A self-taught manga artist where stories are born from a pair of headphones.My work blends original illustration that captures the essence of youth, angst, and urban nostalgia which are mostly inspired from songs I listen to. I like watching & reading slice-of-life stories and I am also an amateur portrait artist.

  • BA Multimedia Arts (Major in Animation) at the University of Makati, PH.

  • primarily uses Photoshop to draw illustrations; Clip Studio Paint for manga & 2D Animation — loves using charcoal, graphite, ink, & colored pencil on traditional drawing on paper.

  • Made my first manga "Last Birthday" in 2022. It will have a reboot this 2026.

  • My creative alias "Chelhailarchy" is a combination of my nickname "Chel" and when my economics teacher in junior high kept mispronouncing the word "hierarchy", which sounded like my last name :> .
